Benromach 10 Years Old

Benromach 10 Years Old

Gold Medal 2016

A weighty, savoury, peated nose with hints of iodine and paint. The palate is equally full of flavour with notes of grain, peat and earthy spice to start, then rich wood, apple, red berries and smoke. There’s more peat on the finish, with a medicinal edge to it.

Gold Medal 2015

Grainy, fruit basket, linseed oil, very balanced.

Best Speyside Single Malt 12 Years and Under 2014

Old, dusty church pews, sandalwood and suede jackets on the nose. Palate is like an old blend with more of the sandalwood, cinnamon and vintage vanilla. Joel Harrison

Musky wafts of smoke come through first becoming smoked tinned sausages. Always getting more pungent and sweet. Michael Lord

Big chocolate malt note with polished oak, a slight dustiness and a damp tobacco leaf. Solid in every respect. Neil Ridley
