Sherry so thick you can cut it with a knife!

Venerable and moist with toasted raisins, sweet cinnamon and violets. Gentle coastal notes and hints of tropical fruit. Superb interplay between the fruit, cask and salt. Dense, moist, treacly sherry palate with hints of burnt raisin, coffee grains and tannin. It’s a serious mouthful!

Long finish. The sherry is silenced by the coastal notes but the light treacle notes linger. A serious sherry monster with a lovely coastal character.

Peat has run for the hills with this giving rich honey, Crunchy Nut cornflakes if you will, milk chocolate and a hint of coffee. Joel Harrison

Rich chocolate, cream and caramel. Slight sherry smell. Dried fruits and glacé cherries. Delicious rich palate. Quite fiery and exciting and then flavours carry through to the finish. Lucy Britner

A balancing act of rich honey, a superbly light peat, oak surfaces and sour cherries. Neil Ridley
