Its ripe, vibrant nose delivers beauty in the form of raspberry, citrus, peach, caramel, vanilla, cigar box with floral hints of cinnamon. The spicy palate offers caramel and vanilla. It’s just gorgeous, with a long and lasting finish. Fred Minnick

Sweet, balanced, delicate and sophisticated with corn candies and sunshine on leather, becoming more perfumed with time. Mouthfilling and viscous, sweet and fruity but with wood, leather and liquorice, nothing dominates, balance and harmony. Robin Laing

Honey, oak and cocoa beans, vanilla, nutmeg and a touch of almonds. Spicy with cinnamon and black pepper on top. Strong honey and brown sugar note underneath and hints of vanilla. Smooth and lingering with subtle spices and touch of honey. Mark Gillespie

Thick lumps of treacle toffee and earthy almost peated notes. Very complex. The palate opens with sweetcorn, toasty, slightly burnt sugar and toffee. It moves into burnt toast and toasted caramel. There’s a forest of oak here! But some dark herbal rye comes through on the middle with some spices too. Intense and impressive. Chris Goodrum
