Relatively shy, but that may be the higher strength. Sunflower oil, carbon paper and apples, then a little pear juice. More caramel and butterscotch after a while.

Rich, smoky palate and honeyed arrival. Notes of gueuze, Ovaltine, candy sugar and then more and more tarte tatin. Also vanilla and toffee. Long finish, with more white pepper, plum eau-de-vie and smoke. Orange cake.

A good potent blend, both old-style and modern. Some kind of tribute blend?
