"The whisky has an intense acidity on the nose, dominated by strong tannins that overshadow malt and fruit. On the palate, the excessive cask influence further masks other flavours, resulting in a dry, spicy finish that bites, even with dilution. Despite this tannin-driven texture, there are an array of both sweet and savoury notes before a lingering oak finish."
