TASTING NOTE:
"Fruity nose, yet robust with a sense of heavy, oily bold flavors. Varnish, ripe apples and pears, vanilla, shortbread sweetness in the background and a whisper of smoke. Some wood and sourness lingers in the empty glass. White bread, toasty bread crust. A very curious texture. Like having a sip of pure rich in texture mineral water. Aqua Panna comes to mind. Watery, yet mesmerising. Has a cooling and soothing effect on the palate. A lot of dry fruit and nuts flavor. Some cake crust, some bitter chocolate, some citrusy zesty flavor. A long and beautiful finish with a tiny bite of the spirit/wood and a hint of anise, tannin. This is one of those whiskies that tastes different depending on your mood, time of the day, season, level of tiredness. A story in the bottle. Like reading a book. Exceptional.
